Alphabet Sensory Game

Sweet Pea found the letter magnets the other day and proceeded to put as many as could fit on the refrigerator. He was able to name all of them!

After taking many down he created a picture out of the alphabet for me. To be honest, I couldn’t tell what it was, but I gushed all over it anyway. He then started moving the letters around, stacking some on top of others until it looked like this!

Then he disappeared. I thought the fun was over, but he returned with a blindfold. We proceeded to take turns blindfolding each other and trying to find the letter the other called out, using only our sense of touch, feeling for angles and curves we knew were in the letter we were trying to find. I was pretty impressed he was able to find a few just by touch!

This was such a fun game, recognition through sense of touch!
