Magnetos

Cutie Pie hasn’t wanted to play by himself a lot in the past few days, so it surprised me to find him playing with his Magneato Jumbos (By Guidecraft). Those are the plastic balls and rods that are magnetized that you can build some fun abstract structures with. Hubby and I love these and often find ourselves playing with them, even though the kiddos sometimes ignore them.

This particular day Cutie Pie wasn’t just putting the Magneatos together and building, but was sorting them by color without any suggestion from me! He also put as many together as he could and was seeing how long a stick he could get (counting the ‘rods’) before it fell apart. I was a little taken back that he was sorting and counting of his own idea! What a first!
