So what do you think of the new Mom is the Only Girl? Is it easier to read? Does it make you feel a little more relaxed and able to breathe with the white space? I’m trying to make this a nice place for you, so please shoot me a note and tell me what you think!
In rebranding and migrating from one platform to another, I’ve been doing a lot of searching for help on-line. One of the biggest helps to me was Blogelina. I even took a course from there!
Let me tell you what resources I utilized, maybe Blogelina will be a site that will help you, too.
First, I have heavily relied on the tutorials, especially those for WordPress. Everything is covered there. Reasons why you should use WordPress all the way to how to install plugins and which ones you should use. Blogelina even provides a transfer service moving your blog from Blogger or WordPress.com to WordPress.org. (Had I known that I was going to run into a few snags I would have purchased this package from them in the first place!)

Since the information and tutorials I found on Blogelina were so helpful, I decided to investigate the e-courses offered. I participated in the Profitable Blogging for Beginners online class, which incidentally currently comes with a free year of hosting! I am slowly implementing the blogging tips shared throughout the class, but mostly delved into the material regarding setting my blog up right from the beginning and found it such an awesome resource!
I could go on and on about Blogelina and the reasons I repeatedly go back as a first source when researching, but instead, why don’t you check out the ‘Start Here‘ page? Resources galore!
They also have some free resources for mom bloggers here:
