We Play – Dinosaur Game

As you all know, Cutie Pie loves trains and dinosaurs. I was looking on-line the other day for dinosaur birthday ideas and found this simple dinosaur footprint game to print out. (I looked at so many sites I just cannot remember where I got this, so if it is yours please let me know so I can give you credit!) It is really a simple board game with two 8 1/2 x 11 sheets of paper taped together with a dinosaur at one end and a dinosaur egg at the other end and footprints in between. I put it together, grabbed some of his tiny dinosaurs and a die and showed it to him. He loved it at first sight!

I explained ‘The Rules’, how to take turns and how to move spots, since this was the first time he’d really been interested in actually playing a board game, as opposed to just playing with the pieces on top of a board game. He did great counting the spots on the die and moving his dinosaur only that many footprints, counting each one as he went and surprisingly, he did great at taking turns! I know this will become another game we regularly play at our hot cocoa dates!

NOTE: I found the link to this game! Check out Pre-K Pages here! The pic is below!

Very cool. The teaset (that was supposed to be here by Christmas) came in the mail yesterday. This sounds like the perfect game to play at ta teaparty.
