We Play! Dinosaur Skeleton

Talk about imagination fueled by Daddy! Cutie Pie was hanging out with Sweet Pea and Daddy one night while I tended to the dishes. I could hear Cutie Pie running back and forth from the rumpus room to the living room screaming all excitedly while bringing pillows into the living room. Daddy was saying things like “Let’s get in the truck and go!” Cutie Pie then interrupted with “Wait, we forgot Sweet Pea!”, or “Wait, we forgot the teeth!” (which would be followed by the little thumping feet and more pillows being taken to the other room.) Then I’d hear vehicle noises and squeals, then a pretend screech of the brakes followed by Cutie Pie saying “OK, we’re at the museum. Let’s build the dinosaur over here.”

After hearing this several times I peeked in and saw the dinosaur made from pillows (above). I was lucky enough to actually get photos before Sweet Pea destroyed ‘him’. Across the room two chairs were set up with a stool in between them. I was later informed this was the truck and the stool was the baby seat for Sweet Pea!

Of course, after the dinos were destroyed by Sweet Pea lots of fun was had by jumping into and rolling on the pillows!

Daddies make the best playmates, and they always seem to come up with things that Mummas don't! 🙂
