Getting Dressed

by | Apr 17, 2012 | Uncategorized | 2 comments

For the past several days Sweet Pea, my 3 year old, has been repeatedly going up to his room, getting into his clothes drawers and changing into his pajamas on his own. I mean, repeatedly, like 10 times throughout the day! He’s getting very good at putting pants and shirts on.

Now if I can only get him to figure out how to put socks and shoes on by himself I think we’d be doing great!

it's always nice when they can take over one of the many things we have been doing….. I got lots of looks and remarks about how could I let my kids wear "THAT OUTFIT"– I said because they were doing it themselves I am not one discourage anything that makes my life easier.

Who really needs socks and shoes anyway though?? Get some easy to slip on sandals and some easy to slip on boots- you've got all weather types covered.

Oh, I'm so familiar with those comments! For a while my 5 yr old wore mismatched sneaks on purpose. Hey, if he's doing it himself I'm not going to discourage! OK, going to check out your blog now! Thanks for visiting!
