I feel very comfortable with how M.O.M. has been working in my paper life. I still have to look at my little outline of things to keep On the Brain, Off the Brain and Once a Week, but it is working well and I am feeling much less stressed.
I am also beginning to notice longer pockets of time here and there to just sit and play with my kiddos or, if the are happily playing (which is thankfully happening more and more often lately) to finish some long put off projects and get some other projects organized and ready to begin! Before starting them, however, I am going to be sure to try to be prepared by knowing what steps I need to take to complete them, what materials I need to purchase or have on hand, and have a clearer idea of how I’m going to get them done! And while I’m in the middle of them I’ll be much more organized by maintaining my Machine!
What challenges do you face when starting new projects?
