Last week was not normal at all. Poor Sweet Pea ended up with a double ear infection and conjunctivitis in both eyes as a result. All the medicine in him should have knocked it out by now, though and he seems to be almost back to his normal self.
I did get a little organizing done, although still not the toys. My mom visited for the weekend, which meant she stayed where everything usually gets placed to be filed! Yes, more piles…I didn’t mention those before, did I? These are a result of our filing cabinet not being near my organized ‘desk’ out of necessity…kids and important papers definitely do not mix even if they are in metal file drawers! (Have you checked out the M.O.M. Organizing method I use?)
I spent time while my kiddos were on their Nana date organizing files, papers and piles. It feels so good to have everything in it’s place. I also made a trip to the store and got a simple, attractive hanging file holder to create a landing spot near my desk for the papers that end up creating these piles. Hopefully a temporary but organized spot will lead to quicker filing which hopefully will help get the filing done before it has the chance to get out of hand again!
