Sweet Pea kept getting into my cupboards today. Instead of fighting him on this, because he was obviously curious as it was a cupboard he couldn’t open before, I got out the stack of reusable cups he found and we spent time stacking, nesting and carrying them around finding things that would fit in them. He had a great time! Eventually he tried to reach one of them up to the sink and to the water spigot on our refrigerator, neither of which he could reach, to fill them like he sees his big brother do. He gave this a great effort, short of pulling a chair over! I was tempted to add just a little bit of water to one of the cups and let him try pouring, but decided I would just let him pretend today and save that for another time!
