We Play in the snow

We had a bit of trouble with our computer after Christmas, so I didn’t manage to get some pics up that I wanted to, so here they are!

We spent a few days at Christmas in the home where I grew up sledding in our back field on inner tubes as a kid. The packed inner tube run with wooden ramp wasn’t there, and we had to make our own sledding trail, so we chose a slightly shorter hill to take Cutie Pie sledding on instead. My Dad’s home is on the side of a hill and about 10 miles away is a lake, which you can clearly see in this pic of Cutie Pie at the bottom of the sledding hill if you know what you are looking for! (It’s the silver sliver at the top left!)

and here’s Daddy and Cutie Pie at the bottom, but it’s harder to see the lake in the distance.

The above pic is Cutie Pie at a stop about mid-hill. He was having a ball! Doesn’t look like that much of a hill in this pic, but below is Grampa pulling Cutie Pie up the hill – CP was a little too tired to keep walking up, so he decided to make Grampa do the work! You can see it is quite steep.
Sledding with Daddy and Grampa is fun, but even more fun when a special friend you only get to see at Grampa’s house comes out to play, too! Make it even more special when she teaches you how to make snow angels!
Playing in the snow at Grampa’s is so much fun that Cutie Pie can’t help but ask to do it again just about every day!
Hop on over to We Play to see how others are keeping busy this winter!

I've been enjoying looking at snowy pictures this summer (in Australia). I miss the snow, it's so much fun. I really, really hope we get a chance to go to the snow this year (it never snows in Sydney).
