Sweet Pea was very interested in his musical instruments this morning! We had lots of fun trying out the rhythm stix, the kazoos, recorder, tambourine, the maracas…all the instruments in our instrument box both wind and percussion.
I’m most impressed that he can use the rhythm stix the right way to make music! That takes a lot of coordination! Cutie Pie was right there with us playing away!
Head on over to Childhood 101 to see ways other kids are playing!

sounds like a fun morning…my older guy loved …and still does loves making music.
Looks like a fun time!
Music has always been popular at our place. From banging on pots and pans to using musical instruments. My lucky girls got given a little toddler piano by a wonderful friend of mine and they often go and bang out tunes on it when feeling unhappy or anxious – great therapy 🙂
I saw your blog name and had to laugh. We are all girls over here!! Daddy is the only boy. 🙂 So thought I would say Hi!!! Hope you have a great week!
Musical instruments are fantastic for little ones, and something they return to again and again. I love keeping a nice variety of instruments in the house, and Princess likes to see how many she can play at the one time LOL
Lokks like they had a fun (and noisy!) time 🙂
We make music everyday, both with our instruments and with whatever what is at hand! LOL One of Immy's favourite songs is 'Singing in the Kitchen' which is all about banging on pots and pans, you can imagine the fun we have with that one!
