Hubby started moving slowly around the living room. The kiddos watched him for only a minute before saying “are you a cow?” How did they know?! He hadn’t made any noise, just moved around on all fours. They proceeded to pretend feed him hay. They pet his nose. Sweet Pea tried to milk him (I didn’t see it, but it sure sounded funny!) They had a lot of fun!
Also, during H week, we were trying on hats. One light blue winter hat was too small for either boy, but when Cutie Pie tried it on and looked in the mirror he said “I’m a shark!” Then he started to chase me, saying he was going to eat me up. Sweet Pea got up from looking at books across the room and started saying “yum, yum” and came after me too! What’s a mom to do with 2 sharks after her? I ran around the loop with my hands flapping in front of my ears like a fish with gills!
I love it when my kiddos are creative!
