Every once in a while Hubby will sing a song to Cutie Pie that Cutie Pie has never heard before. The other night it was “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” because a friend put up a video of his family singing that song at a baseball game.
Cutie Pie was so interested in it that he asked Hubby to sing it over and over an over again, which is cute in itself, but then he asked what everything meant…you’ve heard it before, I’m sure, a repetitive “and what does that mean?” I just had to share this because I never really thought about how songs have meaning that our kiddos don’t understand, and it was my kiddo who brought it to our attention!
